WHERE LIGHT GOES

Description
Ever Amid fine art photographic prints appear hand-painted, each captured in the wilds of Canada and rendered in restrained, atmospheric colour.
Where Light Goes presents a minimalist sky study, defined by a broad gradient of tone. Pale, misted whites dissolve into deeper greys and muted navy, creating a quiet sense of depth and weight.
At the lower centre of the frame, a small cluster of clouds drifts in isolation, appearing as though in the deep ocean, with rare light filtering in from above. One cloud appears dense and sculptural, subtly suggestive of a curled figure or resting animal, lending the composition a quiet, symbolic presence.
Balanced between photography and abstraction, the spare composition evokes stillness and solitude, inviting contemplation of the enormity of the natural world.
Artist Statement
Rooted in the tradition of experimental photography, this collection is a meditation on the residue of place. Soft motion and subtle shifts of light echo how memory lives in the body, not as a precise record but as tone, emotion, and trace.
