Description
Ever Amid fine art photographic prints appear hand-painted, each captured in the wilds of Canada.
You Might Belong Here depicts a rural landscape seen in motion. A wide field stretches across the frame in bands of ochre, sage, and gold. Centred is a lone, weathered house, its simple form set against the land. Beyond it, a line of dark trees gathers at the horizon beneath a washed, open sky.
Shaped by movement, the image allows the ground to dissolve while the house remains just legible — a safe shelter. It carries the feeling of travelling toward a peaceful place known by the body before it is reached. The palette suggests late summer, dry and thinning toward change.
Minimal and reflective, the photograph considers belonging as recognition.
Artist Statement
Rooted in the tradition of experimental photography, this collection is a meditation on the residue of place. Soft motion and subtle shifts of light echo how memory lives in the body, not as a precise record but as tone, emotion, and trace.
